| She's sailing ! CARIBOU FRA 625 Hi Leo,
Tiger 6.50 now named "CARIBOU" (big animal from Canada lands...) is , at last, sailing and should be qualified for the MT 07( Mini-med and Mini Max 06).
I rent the boat at Nicolas 'skipper, racing the next Mini for "the league against cancer".
I'm very happy to send you these few pictures after so much work.

Keel system a bit similar to ABN AMRO system.
The rotation axis of the keel is 150mm above the bottom of the hull.
By this way, no drag due the nose cone and the righting moment is extra increased.
After 1500 milles, it appears very efficent increasing power and reducing hydrodynamic drag.

THis desing looks balanced with still a bit of rocker, not an extreme flat reaching machine that has troubles on other courses. System looks cleaner. But the cones were never that big anyway. Will hte extra RM helps, of course, but is it enough to make it worthwhile, thats the question..
So in about two years we can see if the keelsystem really was an advantage when the skipper is upto speed. Good to see this experiment, one of the advantages of minis, cheaper to experiment with.
