Jaanus Tamme, an Estonian that got the Mini bug... partly due to my site;) Sorry for that. He now bought a Pogo2, but had to bring it to his home country. A challange in itself. In his own words: A year ago when i visited west coast of France i fell in love...just a month ago i decided to bring her where i live, to Estonia. It was a long and hard way but after having a ride with her
i think it was worth of it ;-) All together about 4000miles about half of it with trailer. it took 1,5 week, as i did it solo then most of the time i spent on the road....
hints....never tow a mini in Poland, in Denmark and Sweden try to do it at night, the roads in France and Germany are made for minitowers
...uhhh my heart was tracing making a left turn to Structures yard...there she was my P2
my sails are made on the same floor ;-)
it took about three days to prepeare the trailer and all necessary papers for the way back. I
owe a big thank to the guy with yellow coat back there.
First stop in Quimper for custom papers. it was easy...just 5 minutes
A bit longer stop at garage Andre to change the brakes of my car
If you take very close look you can see the Eiffel tower on the horizon (Leo editor, I cant see it ;0 )
"I could kiss those guys at Mecanorem"
thanks to their very good trailer i had quite ok average speed...and it was very secure to tow
Although i had to use yellow flashlights i found them too exceptional and just made the
trailer and boat visible with stickers. it is very important to mark the widness especially in traffic in Denmark and Sweden as the roads are quite narrow there...
Luckily on the ferry from Stockholm to Tallinn...it was time for vodka and caviar ;-)
first hours at home...i drove right in front to my office to go to work
and here i go...hope to do as many miles and more on the sea with her as i did on the ground
finaly she got a winterhome at wholesale warehouse of french wines...hope she feels like home there
Thanks to Leo, NKE, Stephane from Incidences, Structures gang and everybody else...
