One of the lesser known boats in the production class is the Mistral.
Designed by Nivelt, a very experienced designer, designed with
Joubert a lot of high tech racers in the 80's and later... and co-designed with Magnen a proto that did win the 2001 MiniTransat.
A special feature is the plywood hull, and the composite deck ;)
It hopes to be an official production racer in 2005.... One owner had the following reason to buy a Mistral...
two lifting rudders, cosy feeling, big cockpit, Nivelt/Magnen design.
