The floating dock in Les Sables d Olonne. Never seen such a wide one with three ramps for acces... its for the Vendee Globe, but what a space for the minis...

And some are curious off course of the new canting, rotating, wingmast of Koch, racenr 567. The 5th mast on the photo. Talking about experimenting.

Koch was the shoreteam of 139, a Rolland design that changed to a wingmast to, but a much more conservative one, and not canting.

So the mast, the cord is the biggest i have seen 53 cm, canting mast is a first to on a mini if i am right. Weight, a bit heavy with 55kg when normal carbo is 35 kg incl spreaders etc.
Area, 4,5m2. Movement:100 degrees canting 5 degrees of centre (total 10), thats one meter at the rigging point top of the mast (7/8).
