Just a few shots of our latest Mini proto design recently launched in L'Escala, Spain.  Two have been built by Toni Weijl and Catalan Sailor Gerard Marin, who finished 2nd in the series class of the 2007 Mini Transat.
Early trials have been great and really looking forward to two boat tuning..

Bowsprit looks like Heol. Hope they will help saving the honor of protos in following races since they look like they crashed and burned on the Acores race. Serie is more than likely to win overall and might take the general podium aswell. Routing puts them on Horta early morning on 8th and the only good news for protos is that the leading 291 tends to be quick in light stuff.
Hullshape of new Texcido looks a bit strange though. Very different to last generation of french designers (powerfull full bows). Well until poyester/aluminium boats are winning races I guess it is not the most important thing ;) Gerard sailing them is.

Hola Leo, what's news?
No new designers, it's just Ricard and me..
The lifelines are a new spider web composite -no not really..
The masts are the first two built by Carbonway in Barcelona.
Just exquisite, with first ever carbon t-ball mast base.
Easy Rigging from the Netherlands did all the PBO stays.
But I won't boast about the total weights here...
Just setting up the webpage now, so will be more info then.

Hasta luego,

tim
