Hi Zero Ministas in the Barcelona/Catalunya area.

I am seeking help from one of you. There are 8 Zeros in North America and I would like to make that 9 this year.

A US sailor from California who is thinking of buying a Zero will be in Barcelona for one week, Feb 10 – 17th. His daughter is attending university and he & his family will be visiting her. He would like to see & hopefully have a short sail on a Zero while he is in town.

Over the last 6 years I have visited the Zero builders in Tarragona, Palamos & L’Escala & I know Javier & Leo; Josep & Quim; Joel, Jordi & Sandra but I think they do not have boats in the water. I sailed out of Barcelona with Elaine Chua in Feng, #540. I have met Pedro and chatted on line with Atlantic Project. But I have not been in close contact with anyone recently & I know some boats have re-located to the Mini centre in L’Esacala.

Is there anyone who has a Zero in Barcelona? Is there anyone willing to show his or her boat to a visitor & possibly offer a short demo sail? IF the client buys a boat I promise a cash honorarium in return.

Barcelona is my favourite European city & the Ministas in Catalunya have always been so friendly, hospitable & great people to know. Is it possible that the same Mini culture I enjoyed might be extended to this visitor?
