Hello Mini people!
Finished a double handed transatlantic Caribbean and back in 2009/2010 in a Sadler 25 (Starfire) and now I want to do the race Mini style.
I would like to know if I can enter a Mini for the 2013 Mini Transat but I want to race double handed. And I know most of you mini sailors like it solo but I want to cross an ocean with crew first then in 2015, do it solo.
I understand a 1/3 of the fleet are double handed, is this true and how does one enter?
Thinking of a Series fleet - POGO 2 hull.
What budgets are reasonable for an entry level campaign.
Regards
Alan

There used to be a double-handed category in early races, but now (unless they change the rules between now and 2013) the Mini Transat is solo.  Many (most?) of the qualifying races are either double-handed or have an option of single or double.

But across the Atlantic is single-handed.
