Does anyone know the typical towing weight of a Series Mini (trailer plus boat) ?

I am wondering if it's at all doable with a BMW 118d,

I think it should weigh in at around 1200-1300kg - depending on your trailer.

I was able to tow my Pogo2 with an Audi A4 2.0 (not a diesel . with 131 hp) and that worked fine, a little slow uphill but not too bad.

how does that work?  my proto is 750kg (ish) and I am pretty sure my trailer is about that as well.  Pogo2 weighs 975kgs hence you would need a trailer that weighed 200 - 300kgs to get within 1300kg? BMW 118d towing weight is 1200kg so, unless I have I got the heaviest trailer in the world I don't think it is going to work.

One thing to remember is that you will probably have loads of gear in the boat as well.
