Question for the group: Is it not possible for the organizers to provide real-time GPS tracking data? Can't imagine that it's a power consumption issue since the beacon emits a signal 24/7, no? Would be nice to get a better sense of what the relative speeds are between boats on different parts of the course as they move down the track. Provides a good idea of what the weather is doing.
They do this for all the other major races and should do it for the M/T as well.

Look, all series except the Naus can be sailed well, though the Pogo1 is getting real older. Other series, just check the weight and if like builder says, they will be fine... watch out for overweight ones... Its more sailor, sail development, training that really counts... BUt P2 has head start on sails...
Zero, Hugo sails with crappy sails and crappy autopilot, a Simrad... all because of money...
Hollywoody, nice find, thanks, they even have more positions sets....
Look, if you do like Pogo2 did when the had the first in the water, start a team with experienced sailors, then support it big time, you have an advantage, i miss that by every other yard... no wonder the Pogo2 does the best.. and when a yard has enough income they can keep improving the product, pay for testing etc... so you keep a step ahead...

Oh Kopi,
the Zero is better when you say, and only looses in the transition area jib to spi from the Pogo2 if sailed well. In Flat water under big spi its a tiny bit slower, when waves arrive, even smaller ones, its same or quicker... At least that is what for information i got. But i needed much more direct data :) to have a real good insight. A pity so many yards sucked in the money side ---- :)

Ricard Teixidó... same guy that designed the 385 Ulysses, Mumbru's boat. Regards Pedro

Let me be the first to say it here: Isa Rocks!
What a terrific accomplishment and hopefully just the first step towards the final victory. Hope her sponsors are already writing a check for her IMOCA 60. Still time to get ready for the Vendee.

Seems Alex rounded an island group, did he misread his sailing instructions ???? What a detour...
Very good from 6th placed Despres Fabien, 617, it is his first MT, so highest ranking rooky... then Cusin, then Bourgues...

Possible top-20 finish for Clay in his J-Mini. Not bad for a first-timer in an unproven design. Maybe now J-Boats will jump into the Series market...?
No. :>

Very nice vids, liked the comments of Sam, replace the keel :) (for the unknown, something like that is probably not allowed. even haul out is limited to keep costs down... must ask permission and have a good reason, no cleaning allowed...etc )
